The movie had a private screening for the press and all the pressmen is gaga about the sequel. This is bigger, better and more emotional than the prequel "AVATAR". The film is visually breathtaking, visceral and incredibly engrossing. The story, the spectacle, the spirituality, the beauty - this is movie making and storytelling at its absolute finest. The film is mind-blowing hails the movie critics.

When we talk about James Cameroon, the Director of Avatar sequels the expectations soar sky-high. This is a brilliant work of a genius. 
 
 
The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet, Stephen Lang, Vin Diesel, Michell Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Bailey Bass and Chloe Coleman.  
 
 
The film is distributed by 20th Century Fox and has a duration of 192 minutes i.e. longer than 3 hours.

The movie credit goes to James Cameroon (Canadian film maker - born August 16, 1954) who is the Director, Co-Producer, Writer and Co-Editor.  The main lead pair is Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana in all the sequels. This time around Stephen Lang has been roped in to play Colonel Quaritch. The film is James Cameroon's masterpiece.
 
 
The successful James Cameroon  movies are Titanic,(1997), Avatar (2009), Piranha II: The Spanning (1981), Terminator (1984), Aliens (1986), The Abyss (1989), True Lies (1994) etc.
 
 
 
AVATAR - 3 is expected for a December 2024 release.
 
AVATAR - 4 is likely to get released by December 2026.
 
AVATAR - 5 will be screened in December, 2028.  
 
However, new sequels depends on the success of AVATAR : The Way of Water. 
 
 
The prequel AVATAR had a budget of  23.7 crores US Dollars and grossed 292 crores (2009) US Dollars world wide in Box Office.
 
 
 
 
The original Avatar story can be narrated in a nutshell. Jake, who is paraplegic, replaces his twin on the Na'vi inhabited Pandora for a corporate mission. After the natives accept him as one of their own, he must decide where his loyalties lie.
 
 
 
In "AVATAR - The Way of Water"   Jack Sully lives with his new found family formed on the planet of Pandora and are doing everything to stay together.  Jake Sully and Neytiri have to work together along with the army of the Na'vi to protect the planet of Pandora.  They must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora.  When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.


    
The movie has lots of swimming, swimming and more swimming.  Kate Winslet learned diving for this film and under water photography and shoot had a  long spell.  Kate Winslet broken the record of Tom Cruise by holding her breath underwater for a whopping 7.12 minutes !
